I like to think of myself as super organized. Ok, that might not ALWAYS be the case, but at least I try, right?
I’ve tried just about every method of organization and while some do work for a while, I just can’t seem to stick to one set thing. That is, except for Post-it Notes. Those handy little notes are constantly floating around my desk, office and well, really, my entire house!
But I’m here to tell you today, that Post-its aren’t just those square, yellow pieces of paper anymore! Oh no, they taken a HUGE step in the right direction – in my opinion at least! Say Hello to NEW Post-it Full Adhesive Notes!!

Design
Remember those boring old, run of the mill, canary yellow Post-it notes? Cast that memory far away and introduce yourself to the bold and fun new colours of Post-it Full Adhesive Notes! These bright, eye catching colours will surely remind you of whatever it is you wrote down! If you still prefer the standard yellow, have no fear! You can get those too!
These new Post-it Notes also come in different sizes making them perfect for all types of uses. I’ve got them stuck everywhere – my computer monitor (not the screen but the edge of it :P), my desk, on the white board in my kitchen, inside cabinets, on the fridge, in client files (for my massage therapy practice) and in books.
Does it Work?
Hold on. I need to think about this one for a minute. Just Kidding! Of course they work! In my opinion they work loads better than the original.
Honestly, I was a little frightened about the full adhesive concept. My first though was “isn’t the front side of the next note going to be sticky from the back side of the previous note?” Nope. Smooth, clean and easy writing. I’m not exactly sure how they do it, but it’s awesome!
As I said above, I use them EVERYWHERE! Some examples of how I’ve been using Post-its; freebie / coupon / giveaway launch reminders, frequently used (and forgotten) kitchen substitutions & conversions, place markers in books & magazines, reminders for coupons expiring, To-Do lists for Ryan ;), random thoughts and ideas for SaL or life in general, etc. etc. etc!
I would also like to mention that I’ve made great use of the other products that were also included in my basket! Hanging a poster in my Massage Therapy office, sealing up Pink SaveaLoonie Shopping Totes for shipping and organizing my filing cabinet.
Durability
One of my favourite things about the Post-it Full Adhesive Notes is how sticky they are! I have had the same note stuck to my cupboard for a week now and it shows no sign of wavering LOL Having the one non-stick edge makes handling the note easy-peasy too!
I also really appreciate the fact that I can stick a Post-it to our wooden cabinets and NOT have to worry about the stain peeling off or anything of the sort. The notes remove cleanly from any surface and don’t leave any type of sticky residue.
Another great thing about these new Full Adhesive Notes is, that should the need arise to remove and re-stick one of them, it still sticks! That was always one problem with original Post-its; once you broke that initial contact, the stickiness was never the same.
Dollar Value
You can purchase a 4 pack of the 3″ x 3″ or an 8 pack of the 2″ x 2″ Post-it Full Adhesive Notes for right around $5 at Staples and Walmart.
There is 25 notes per pad, it is the same for either size. Works out to 100 of the big size and 200 of the small size per pack.
Break it down a step farther, you’re paying $0.05 per note for the large size and $0.025 per note for the small size. At regular price for the large size, I’m not going to lie, that’s too rich for my blood. It’s not because I don’t think that they are worth it – but if it really came down to the nitty-gritty, I could find other things to spend my $5 on.
It’s a bit better at 2 1/2 cents per note for the small size, which really, isn’t THAT much smaller. In my opinion, go for the 2″ x 2″ size to get the most bang for your buck.
However, we are all couponers and money savers here aren’t we. Pair a good sale and a coupon or rebate offer (both are frequently available) and you’ve got yourself some high quality Post-it Notes on the cheap 🙂
