A couple of weeks ago, my friends at 3M Canada Company reached out and asked if I would be interested in doing a Command Brand review and giveaway. Hmm. Let me think about that for a moment – YES!
I am a HUGE Holiday fanatic. I LOVE everything to do with this season. The lights, the glitter, the colours – it all makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Before my basket of products even arrived, I already knew what I was going to do with it LOL

Design
Command Brand offers a HUGE variety of hooks and clips that will solve any decorating dilemma! Whether you need low-visibility clear hooks, fancy metallic hooks, outdoor hooks or something to simply keep the wires out of the way, Command’s got it all!
One of my criticisms about the design, is the packaging. I don’t know about you but I tend to like to keep packaging as intact as possible, especially when I won’t be using all the pieces.
These Command hooks were a little on the difficult side to open cleanly but really, I used all the hooks so it wasn’t THAT big of a deal. I just have to figure out a place to keep the extra sticky strips they supply with each pack.
Does It Work?
They work great and then some!
Each pack is labeled with it intended use – wire clips, utensil hooks, wreath hooks but don’t let labels bind you! Who says a utensil hook HAS to be used as that. Instead, I used it to hang tinsel garland over doors frames. Perfect!
Oh, and the wire clips? They work perfect for hanging garland! I strung garland across our Living Room mantel and ran out of the medium size clear hooks so I used one in a pinch.
The little decorating clips are AMAZING for stringing lights. Don’t laugh at me, but I usually just use thumb tacs along the inner frame of the window and its a pain. First trying to poke the hole, then string the lights properly and your left with a bunch of holes after the holidays. These little clips are the best thing ever! It made putting our inside lights up quick, easy and painless. Bonus – no holes!
Let your imagination run wild – the possibilities are only limited by what you can dream up.
Durability
One of the best things about Command hooks is you can use, reuse, remove and re-position as you see fit! Don’t like where the hook is, just pull the strip and move it to a new location. There is no damage to your walls!
If you’re like me and put the adhesive strip on upside down (oops!), just quickly remove the strip and flip the clip and its as good as new. Really. I did it – no more than twice. Honest.
The larger hooks state you need to wait an hour after positioning them before you hang anything off of them. I suggest you follow that direction. Normally, I’m a stickler for directions but really, waiting for a hook to adhere is about as exciting as waiting for paint to dry!
I may or may not have hung a wreath on one of the decorative hooks prior to the 2 minute 1 hour mark. Lets just say as I stepped back to admire my work, stuff hit the floor. Eek. Lesson learned. But, on the plus side, I just picked the hook back up and restuck it, waited the hour and wammo – good as new. Oh, and nothing broke. That was good too.
On a side note, I totally made that wreath myself 😀
