As we say good-bye to 2014 and hello to 2015 we’d like to take a look back at this year’s most popular offers! Putting this post together, I couldn’t help but notice there is a definite trend to what our community likes 😉

Number 10 – SaveaLoonie’s P&G Sampler Pack Giveaway
Coming in at Number 10 on our list is one of our very own giveaways – our P&G Sampler Pack Giveaway! This giveaway was the first in a series of P&G Product Giveaways we had during the month of June. With 25,000 views in just over 1 week, this was one of our most popular promotions ever!
Number 9 – Lindt Excellence Love the Flavours Contest
Number 9 on our Top 10 Most Viewed Posts of 2014 is the Lindt Excellence Love the Flavours instant win contest! This contest was exceptionally popular because you could play daily and win free chocolate 🙂 There were 20,000 prizes to be won and no limit to how many each person could win! I was lucky enough to win a few free bars myself!
Number 8 – P&G Fall brandSAMPLER Packs
P&G did something this year that they’ve NEVER done before – they released not 1, not 2 but 3 free sample packs this fall – all on the same day! All of these sample packs were available to any user who had a P&G Everyday account! However, it wasn’t all fun & games. It seemed P&G has a few flaws in their system because some SaveaLoonians had troubles requesting theirs 🙁
Number 7 – P&G Olay & Pantene Sampler
Coming in at the number 7 most viewed post of 2014 is the third in the series of P&G Sample Packs that were all available this fall. This sampler was also available to any P&G Everyday member that wanted one – and was able to request one. This sample pack unfortunately gave many users an error when trying to request it which was incredibly frustrating. However, in the end, I think many of you were actually surprised when one of these packs arrived in your mail box3!
Number 6 – SaveaLoonie’s 12 Days of Giveaways
Our 4th annual Christmas Giveaway – SaveaLoonie’s 12 Days of Giveaways came in as this year’s 6th most viewed post. This year’s giveaway was packed full of amazing prizes available to be won – by you from us! This was our biggest giveaway to date – and we are already busy planning for 2015! 😉
Number 5 – Kraft What’s Cooking Coupon Portal
First thing in 2014, Kraft introduced their new What’s Cooking coupon portal and over the course of the year, it has become out number 5 most view post. We updated this post regularly throughout the year whenever new coupons were added – and there were some goodies! We saw some high values & even some BOGOs show up! The only downside, they are all print coupons and we all know how you feel about print coupons 😉
Number 4 – Healthy Essentials My Essentials Rewards Program
The Healthy Essentials My Essentials Rewards Program was actually introduced late in 2013 but picked up momentum throughout 2014. This program offers rewards points for printing & using coupons, updating your profile etc, that you can redeem for FREE Johnson & Johnson Gift Product Packs!
Number 3 – P&G My brandSAMPLER Sample Packs
Although these samplers were rittled with user errors, the P&G My brandSAMPLER Sample Packs came in a number 3 this year! These sample packs came available a couple of times throughout the fall of 2014 but despite repeated attempts, many users were unable to successfully request some of these samples. Don’t get this one confused with the other P&G Samplers that were listed above – each one had a different combination of products!
Number 2 – P&G Try It & Love It Sampler
Coming in at number 2, is the P&G Try It and Love It Sampler. 2014 was a year full of samplers from P&G and this one in particular, got lots of attention. Which is kind of a surprise because this sampler was only offered directly to users via email from Shoppers Voice. There were 3 rounds available, 1 in April, 1 in May and 1 in June. These samplers were offered in addition to the other 3 samplers listed above! Hopefully many of you were able to request at least one!
Number 1 – Sunlight The Lemon One Contest
The Sunlight The Lemon One Contest was this year’s most viewed post – and with good reason! Let’s flash back to early March when this contest launched – there were 1000s of instant win gift cards available and when we first posted this contest EVERYONE was a winner. Later on, Sunlight retracted many of the wins saying it was a system glitch. Unfortunately, this left many of you with a “sour” (ha, see what I did there) taste in your mouth. However, in the end, there were many SaveaLoonians who won prizes!
