This isn’t good news – I’m glad to see the sale quantities were low!
I’m hoping this doesn’t affect any SaveaLoonians but if it does, it’s so important to share!
GSI Outdoors and Health Canada are recalling 3.5 oz. LL Bean kids’ insulated water bottles from the market due to high levels of lead. The lead solder at the exterior base of the bottle is the cause of the high levels.
The bottles were sold in five different prints: Dino Bones, Flower Power, Orange Grid Camo, Purple Tie Dye Butterfly, Robo Shark.
A sticker with the item number: 297684 can be found on the bottom of the bottle.
There have been no reports of illness with this recall.
Approximately 77 units were sold at LL Bean online from July 23, 2015 to May 11, 2016
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bottles and contact L.L. Bean for a full refund.
