Every once in a while, Ryan and I treat ourselves to some of the yummy foods available at M&M Meatshops. I’ve been a Max member for years and usually only will shop for sale items or when there is an extra in-store promotion.
Back in February, there were some great sales on, so we stopped in and purchased some groceries. In our store, they had a special promotion that if you purchased a Wood-Fired Pizza you would be entered into a draw for an Italian Themed gift basket. We were already planning to buy one, so it worked out perfectly.
My receipt went into the box and, to be honest, I forgot all about it.
That is until last week when the phone rang. It was the manager of our M&M Meats store. I WON the gift basket! I couldn’t believe it! I’ve been lucky enough to win a few online contests but I’ve never won an in-store contest! To top it all of, it was my second win in 3 weeks! I’m on a roll!
Inside the basket was a Lasagna, Wood Fired Vegetable Pizza, Cheese & Artichoke Dip, Italian-Style Beef Meatballs, Roasted Red Peppers, Kalamata Olives, EVOO and Italian Flag picks. Even Ella was excited to see everything inside!
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, you won’t win if you don’t enter! This latest giveaway win has inspired me to pay more attention to contests available in-store and printed on receipts.
