Today was the first day in well over a week that I was actually super excited when I opened our front door to check the mail!
There was not 1, not 2 but THREE boxes lined up in front of the door! I closed the door quickly and squealed a little (LOL), opened it back up and brought in the mail!
I’ll start with what came last week, but it isn’t much.
I got my Lucky Charms toque from the cereal box rebate promotion (now over). It came with a coupon for $0.50 off Yopa Yogurt. This thing took what seemed like FOREVER to get here! But it’s cute, if not kind of small. Probably will get passed along to one of our nephews 🙂
I also got my Old El Paso salsa free product coupon from Save.ca (no longer available).
Now onto today; I got my Canadian Living Magazine. I didn’t really have much of a chance to go through it yet, but I did spot coupons for Gold Bond & LeClerc printed inside!
I saved the best for last – the boxes!
First off, there were 2 identical brown boxes. Those got opened first! Inside each box we found a FREE Full Size Bag of Nescafe 3-in-1 from a flash giveaway on the Nescafe Facebook Page! Underneath each bag, was a letter from Nescafe, one addressed to Ryan and one addressed to Darren? HUH? Then it dawned on us, there must have been a mix up at Nescafe, the second box was never intended for us. Sure enough, one of the boxes was to addressed to Darren but was OUR address. So, of course, Ryan sent them an FB message right away letting them know! They were appreciative and will be looking into it and making sure Darren get his Nescafe too!
In the meantime, I guess it’s our lucky day! Well, Ryan’s – I don’t drink coffee.
Now onto the BEST NEWS, the thing that really made my day! I GOT A VOXBOX!!!!
I posted late last week about making the short-list for an upcoming campaign, however after completing the survey, told I didn’t qualify. I was a little disappointed since the survey seemed to be about hair care products, and well let’s just say, I’m in need of some SERIOUS help in that department. So I was totally SHOCKED when I opened up the door and spotted the bright red box Influenster VoxBox.
Inside were three sample size L’Oreal hair care products. One shampoo, one conditioner & one Split End Serum.
This is a special Mystery VoxBox! They are keeping the specific brand top-secret but it does indicate it’s for distressed, damaged hair (this girl, right here). Then in one week, participants will receive a SECOND box revealing the mystery brand of the full product line!
OHMYGOSH! So excited. Can’t wait to wash my hair LOL And another box in a week – best news! I almost missed that part! I went back and read the instructions more carefully before writing this and almost fell out of my chair!
