The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall for Compliment brand Super 8 Beef Burgers due to the possibility of E. Coli contamination.
The recall is the result of an ongoing investigation initiated by a recent outbreak investigation. They are warning the recall of additional products or best before dates may occur as the investigation continues.
UPDATE: The CFIA has been updated to also now include Compliments Super 6 Beef Burgers, Presidents Choice Beef Burgers an Webers Bucket of Burgers
These burgers were distributed in ON, NB, NS, PEI and NFLD in Sobeys, Foodland, FreshCo and Price Chopper locations.
There HAVE been reported illness with this product.
