Booo 🙁 This recall makes me sad!
For one, Duncan Hines is a brand I trust and wouldn’t expect this from them; and for two, I LOVE this product and I’m going to think twice if I go to buy it again.
And with all of the holiday baking now, we thought it was important to share with all of you too!
Duncan Hines is recalling Apple Caramel Cake Mix from the market due to a possible Salmonella contamination.
Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections. Healthy people may experience short-term symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Long-term complications may include severe arthritis.
