I was grocery shopping on the weekend and came across something I just had to shake my head at.
98% of the time, I’m a well prepared shopper – I have my list, I have my coupons and I have my Price Matches all ready to go. But on occasion, I impulse buy decide to make a purchase last minute.
This weekend was one of those occasions. I was strolling through the aisles and spotted Becel Margarine on sale and a bunch of coupons in a holder close by. I remembered we need margarine, so went to pick one up and grab a coupon – this was my moment of head shaking.
The entire bunch had the coupons ripped off and nothing but the recipe card / information booklet was left in the holder.
Now I’m not saying a single person did this. It very well could have been a whole collection of people doing the same thing. That still doesn’t make it right.
If you’re going to take the coupon, take the information along with it! Please. It’s just common courtesy.
So needless to say, I walked away without my margarine.
