The mail has seemed sooo slow, pretty much all of July. It’s like we get 1 or 2 things a day but at least one day a week, we get nothing at all. Those days suck.
That’s not to say we haven’t gotten anything good, we just haven’t had one of those Christmas in July type of mail days.
I’ve been collecting the stuff we’ve gotten the last 2 weeks, and put it aside because I’ve been meaning to do a mail day post pretty much all of last week, but just never got it done. So here it is. On a Sunday.
I got the usually collection of envies from Save.ca & GoCoupons plus a coupon from Marc Angelo for renewing my subscription to their enewsletter. I also received a free $25 Visa Gift Card that I won in a contest from Yellow Pages (now over).
Last week, I received an Orville Redenbacher’s Ready To Eat Popcorn FPC. I won this FPC in a comment contest on their Facebook page quite a while ago.
Ryan received an FPC that he won in the Lindt Excellence Taste the Flavours Contest (now over). I got an email this week and had to answer a bunch of skill testing questions for the FPC’s that I won but Ryan didn’t. Weird.
On Canada Day, Petro Canada gave away 100 free pins, and I was lucky enough to get one. It arrived sometime over the last couple of weeks too. Honestly, I can’t exactly remember when. I’ve got a few of these now, starting a collection 🙂
I was super excited on Wednesday with a free Goody Bag from Post-it Perks (read more). I didn’t request this awesome pack, it was sent as a total surprise.
In addition to all of that, Ryan and I both managed to score ourselves some new, FREE, clothing!
The blouse I won in the Blouse a Day Giveaway from Cleo (now over) arrived. It is light and airy, perfect for summer.
The T-shirt that Ryan instantly won in the Sleeman Speak-Easy Contest also arrived.
Last, but not least, our FREE KD Swag from the KD Fun Shop (over) arrived! Ryan won the T-Shirt and I won the noodle socks.
To be completely honest, the socks were a bit of a let down. They don’t stretch, at all, so they aren’t very comfy. That and when they are on, they no longer look like noodles. Ah well, they are fun to look at 🙂
That’s it for us 🙂 Here’s hoping August brings all kinds of goodies. I’m still anxiously awaiting my SDM 30 Ways to Beautiful Hair sampler, BVLGARI sample, *hoping* I am surprised with Excel ear buds and I’m sure there is more I just can’t think of right now.
What have you received in the mail lately? Share with us on the SaveaLoonie Facebook Page! We love seeing your photos too!
