The mail has been so slow lately. Like I’m talking extreme snail mail.
Honestly, we haven’t even gotten anything since LAST Thursday! Not a single stitch of mail.
Then, finally, today we got some mail. Ryan checked the box today and I was none to encouraged as I heard him uttering “junk, spam, spam, spam, bill” all the way back to the kitchen. As I was looking over the pile of junk we got, a knock at the door.
Couldn’t think of a single thing I was expecting via courier, so when Purolator handed me the box I immediately scanned it over to find out what it was..

Interesting… And, I must comment on the texture of the box. It’s impossible to capture in a photo, but the box was really nice!
How cool! It’s like a whole introduction to the product and the sample. Classy Gain! I like it!
WOWZA! It’s wrapped in a thick, quality cloth and sealed with a gold (not real, obviously) sticker! This must be the MOST INCREDIBLE sample EVER!
Oh – well – that’s.. nice. A Gain Flings sample pack – with 1 tab in it. Hmm. I’ll take it, after all free is free. Detergent, Oxi boost & Febreze all in one little pac is definitely worth a try!
Would you look at that! A booklet underneath the sample, I bet there is an FPC or some amazing coupon in there!
Ugh – nope. Just an EXCESSIVE amount of packaging for one, tiny little laundry pac. While I appreciate the effort and thought behind the presentation of the sample, it seems to me, the money spent on making the fancy boxes and the nice cloth and all that cardboard, could have been better served in offering more samples to more consumers.
