I headed out to Walmart this afternoon after I received a hot tip from Kim on our Canadian Coupons Facebook Page. She let me know that Walmart had some specially marked boxes of Scrubbing Bubbles products that had $5 in coupons in them! Combine that with the sale at Giant Tiger (Hello Price Match!), the recent SmartSource insert coupons and BINGO! Awesome deal! Inside the Gel boxes the coupons are $3 off the brush starter + $2 off refills and inside the Brush the coupons are $2 off refills + BOGO Gel. All of them valid until December 31, 2013!
I also had a few FPCs I wanted to use up and was really looking forward to scoring some Green Works too.
So off to Walmart I went with a small list of things to grab. Even though I know Sunday afternoons are not the best time to shop, I was left slightly disappointed. Not a bottle of Green Works to be found in the place. My Maple Leaf Portions FPC expires in a few days so I wanted to pick that up too. Nope. None in stock. Off to the cleaning products for a Vileda Dish Scrunge. No such luck, none to be found. I couldn’t even find a small bag of M&Ms!
I even went over to Shoppers Drug Mart after Walmart and there was NO Green Works there either! It was a little disheartening to be honest. But I stayed positive and persevered and did manage to score a few good deals! Jack & Ella were even curious to see what I got!
