Canadian Coupons
January 15, 2013

There was recently some issues raised on our Facebook Page regarding the fact that Metro and Food Basics are no longer accepting webSaver.ca coupons. We of course had to investigate, so we immediately contacted Metro Ontario.

This is the response I received:

“Dear Terra,

Thank you for your email.

We accept one valid coupon per item purchased.

We accept coupons issued by our Company and printed from our Company website www.metro,ca.  Unfortunately, due to fraudulent activity with internet coupons, we do not accept coupons that are printed from any other websites from the internet, either on-line coupons or e-coupons.

We accept manufacturer coupons that are ordered and mailed to the Customer by Canada Post from websites such as Save.ca and webSaver.ca and GoCoupons.ca.

Regards,

Metro Customer Care”

So in conclusion – Metro & Food Basics (they are both owned by Metro) DO accept webSaver MAIL TO HOME coupons!

Hope this helps clear up any issues. Be sure browse all of our Canadian Coupon Policies.
