There is a new Recall for Ditto Brand Razors in Canada.
Summer is basically the “unofficial shaving season”. Many men & women spend extra time shaving to avoid unwanted hair that may cause excess heat or just general uncomfortableness.
Since brand-name razors are expensive, lots of people take to buying more economically varieties – like Ditto brand from Giant Tiger.
However, if you’re one of those people that have purchased Ditto razors, you may be affected by this new recall.
Health Canada issued the Ditto Brand Razors recall after at least 2 Canadians report suffering “lacerations to the skin” while using the product.
The affected products are:
- 4PK Ditto 4Blade Razor and Cartridges. SKU: 959986
- 4PK Ditto 4Blade Refill Cartridge. SKU: 959991
- 5PK Ditto 5Blade Razor and Cartridges. SKU: 959979
- 5PK Ditto 5Blade Razor and Cartridges. SKU: 959954
- 10PK Ditto Twin Blade Razor. SKU: 959951
Health Canada states that 8549 affected products were sold between May & July 2020.
If you have a recalled product, stop using it immediately and contact Giant Tiger by telephone toll-free at 1-833-848-4377, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST, Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST, by email or by visiting the Giant Tiger website for a refund.
