Back in August 2019, we shared the news about the popular water bottle manufacturer, Contigo, recalling Kids Water Bottles.
Replacement kits were issued to those affected, but this recall has been expanded to now include bottles sold up until just this month!
Contigo is voluntarily recalling the lids of Contigo Kids Cleanable Water Bottles because the silicone mouthpiece can become detached during use and pose a chocking hazard. Only bottles with a black spout cover and a black spout base are affected by the recall.

There were approximately 157,000 bottles sold in Canada between April 2018 and February 7, 2020. The bottles were sold individually, in 2 packs and 3 packs, as well as in 3 sizes: 13oz, 14oz and 20oz; in a variety of colours, materials & graphics.
