[toggle title=”How To Earn” collapse=”false” ] When you start collecting Air Miles Rewards Miles the first thing you need to do is determine how you want to use your Miles. You can use them as Air Miles Cash to redeem instantly towards in-stores purchase at participating retailers or you can save them as Dream Rewards for things like travel, merchandise and more. You don’t have to choose one or the other. You are able to select which percentage of Miles go towards each category.
Earning Air Miles is easy! Just swipe your card or use your Collector number when you shop online. There are over 200 Sponsors that use the Air Miles Reward Program.
Air Miles are not earned at a set schedule but instead each Sponsor has it’s own earning rate(Examples: Best Western – 20 Miles per Stay or Boston Pizza – 1 Mile per $14 Spent). For a complete list of all participating Air Miles Sponsors and how much you earn visit the Air Miles website.

2.Shop online through Airmilesshops.ca to earn Bonus Air Miles on your purchase. This online shopping site gives you details about what special offers are available for what stores and then automatically redirects you to them for your shopping.
3. Apply for an Air Miles Credit Card or Bank Account when you shop. You will earn Air Mile on all of your purchases plus Bonus Air Miles when you use your financial card and Collector Card together.
4. You can purchase a limited number of Air Miles to meet a goal you may just be short of.
5. Use coupons offered by sponsors or by Air Miles to earn Bonus Points on purchases.
6. Participate in contests, giveaways, and surveys sponsored by Air Miles. You will often get Bonus Reward Miles when you complete your registration.
7. Exchange your Hudson’s Bay Rewards for Air Miles at the rate of 40 Hudson’s Bay Rewards = 1 Air Mile.

Air Miles Cash
You can redeem Air Miles Cash instantly towards in-store purchases at participating retailers across Canada. A minimum of 95 Air Miles are required to redeem for $10. You will only be able to redeem if you have enough Air Miles and you purchase is a minimum $10 including taxes. A maximum $750 can be redeemed per day.
To redeem in-stores, simply present your Air Miles Collector Card and tell the cashier you would like to redeem reward miles from your Air Miles Cash balance.
Air Miles Dream Rewards
Save up you Air Miles Dream Rewards to redeem for your choice of more than 1200 rewards including flights, vacations, merchandise and more on the Air Miles website.

[toggle title=”Tips” collapse=”false” ] 1. If you don’t use them, you lose them! If no Reward Miles are posted to or redeemed from you Collector Account for 24 consecutive months your account can be closed without notice. Also, Reward Miles that have not been redeemed within 5 years of earning them will expire 5 years to that date.
2. Combine coupons with in-store Bonus Air Miles offers to save while you earn!
3. Gas up at Shell whenever possible. They are the only ones to offer Air Miles and quite often have bonus promotions to earn extra Rewards.
4. When using Air Miles Cash, each Reward Miles works out to be about 11 cents. Shopping during bonus promotions is great, but don’t overspend just to earn the Air Miles. It’s probably not worth it.[/toggle]
