I think we are starting to uncover a trend here.. does anyone seem to be noticing that couponing is going digital in Canada?
Next to the likes of Checkout 51, SnapSaves & CartSmart, we can now add a new Rebate App to the list – say hello to Zweet.
How it Works
Currently, Zweet is only available for iPhone users however, Android is coming soon! Download the app from the App Store and install in on your device. Then browse through the available offers for the week. Purchase any of the products listed, scan your receipt and earn cash back!
There is a limit of 1 account per person, and 2 accounts per household.
When are New Offers Available?
New offers are available every Wednesday and you have until the following Tuesday to upload your receipt. You can claim multiple offers per receipt, but each receipt can only be upload once.
Can I Use Coupons Too?
No. That is the one BIG difference – and the one thing I don’t really like – about Zweet. Unless specified in the fine print of each offer, Zweet offers are limited to one unit per customer and cannot be combined with other coupons or discounts applicable on the same product. This does not apply to in-store sales & specials.
UPDATE: Zweet has let us know that they have officially changed their Terms & Conditions to now ALLOW the use of any in-store coupons or discounts unless it is clearly specified in the offer’s details! YAY!
Payment Options
To cash out of Zweet, you must have a minimum balance of $20 in your account. You can request to have your money transferred via PayPal or check. You do also have the option to “bank” your funds and cash it out after the $20 limit is met. However, if there is no activity in your account for 12 months, you will have $2 per inactive month (after 12 months) deducted from your account.
Bonus Ways to Earn Money
Zweet has “Zweet Points” loyalty program as well as a refer-a-friend program. Redeem offers to earn Zweet Points. Then redeem your points for donations and gift certificates. More rewards to come!
